Stylish London Home
A Notting Hill home designed by Charles Mellersh.KitchenBedroomBathroomI am enjoying viewing this stylish Notting Hill home designed by London designer, Charles Mellersh. Harmonious, modern, warm and simple. I especially like the use of brass fixtures in the kitchen - this trend also features in The Shingle House posted earlier this month.Check out Remodelista's trade secrets here to create the same vibe as this London home.Photographs by Chris Tubbs via Remodelist...

Bathroom - Vanity Basins with a touch of Colour.
Soft blue with T&G on the bathroom vanity. In a neutral bathroom, colour on the vanity works well. The same combination was carried on into the Ensuite.I met with a client today and when I proposed allocating a soft blue-green onto the new bathroom vanity, she was uncertain about this combination. So I thought I would bring up this bathroom from last year - all neutral with a side of soft blue. Hope she's keen.Photographs by Charlotte Mint...

Wallpaper - Ferm Living
I am at present working on a residential job which includes a young boy's bedroom. This boy, like many, loves trucks, cars and all things on wheels. I think this popular and graphic wallpaper called 'Rush Hour' from Danish company Ferm Living hits the spot for a feature wall in his bedroom.Photograph via Ferm Livin...

Hardware for a New Kitchen.
Gilmore knob from Restoration Hardware Gilmore pull Latch in oil rubbed bronze finish. I have designed a new kitchen for a client who was inspired by the interiors in the movie, Something Gotta Give. One of the details from the movie's kitchen that we liked was the use of black hardware. After looking around in New Zealand, we have eventually sourced the hardware from Restoration Hardware, USA. These will add a lovely detail to the white kitchen. The kitchen's installation will be in...

Sibella Court's Stylist Guide to NYC
I have been updating my Amazon bookstore and there is one book I am most keen to get my hands on - it is 'The Stylist's Guide to NYC' by interior stylist and The Society Inc creator, Sibella Court. I am planning my next trip to exciting New York City and this book couldn't be a better guide. Living Architecture - The Shingle House

The Shingle House is located by a beach in Dungeness, Kent. The house, designed by NORD, is clad in tarred black shingles. I have been noticing and reading the coverage (as seen in Dezeen, Remodelista and Wallpaper) about the popular Living Architecture, a social enterprise who are embracing the idea of "holidays in modern architecture". The brain child of Alain be Botton, Living Architecture offers a chance to rent holiday homes designed by talented architects/designers and are placed in picturesque...
