Hotel du Marc from Lonny

 

 

 

Reading the latest issue of Lonny magazine, I came across Hotel du Marc which is located in Reims, France. This is the guest house belonging to Veuve Clicquot, the famous champagne brand that we all love, and Lonny shows the results of its 4 year renovation. While some of the rooms are very elaborate, I do like the grand while simple bedroom and bathroom belonging to the 'Chevigne' suite - especially with  its 'dashes of Clicquot yellow'. Maison de Bibby

Here is Maison de Bibby, a mini boutique hotel created by Anna Bibby, a former gallery owner from Auckland, New Zealand. Maison de Bibby is located in the village of Martel in south west France and this beautifully restored 18th century stone town house is filled with antiques from the region and contemporary New Zealand art. HOME New Zealand magazine did a great cover story on this boutique hotel earlier this year.

Boutique Hotel - La Feline Blanche

I would have no problem staying at this lovely boutique hotel, La Feline Blanche (The White Cat), located in the village of Saint Gervais Mont Blanc, France. This charming place was designed by Pierre Emmanuel Martin and Stephane Garotin of Maison Hand. Doesn't it just invite you to walk in and mellow out, especially in those big white chairs and white beds while checking out the mountain views? Yes please.
