I often design vanities for bathrooms I work on, however seeing these designs from Italian bathroom manufacturer, Altamarea just take it to another level. Beautifully detailed (look at that red lined drawer) while using inset marble stone tops to dramatic effect - this makes me want to lift my game.

Have you noticed the trend of marble top tables? They're quite lovely and I was admiring these ones from Melbourne brand, Jardan. I looked for one available in New Zealand and sure enough found the simple All Circle side table at Douglas and Bec. Nice.

Stylish and Slick Kitchen

This kitchen is located in the mid-19th-century London home of designer, Harriet Anstruther and there are some nice details. I like the timber in the exposed negatives to create pulls for the drawers and the brass tap (a nice and 'warm' change from the usual chrome). Anstruther admits the marble benchtop is highly impractical but "dreamt about unlacquered brass and white marble" and got it looking good by continuing it up the splashback and the shelf.
