PREFAB Eatery, Wellington

A new eatery has opened it doors in Wellington and it has everyone excited. It's called PREFAB and is located in a great building with a cool interior space. It's big (seats 130), stylish (the refurbished building by done by Studio of Pacific Architecture) and has a fresh, clean and seasonal menu. 

PREFAB was created by a team of Wellington's hospitality stalwarts and in the pipeline, there is an events space opening in May as well as other side projects. Sounds pre(tty) fab(ulous) to me.

I received an email today from a fabric rep and she had attached some images from her visit to the Maison et Objet 2013 in Paris last month. Wow!
Here on Rue du Mail, all the fabric houses made giant lampshades for their street. Doesn't it looks great?

Stripes on Sofas

 A dear friend of mine was keen to reupholster her sofas last year - they had come with the house when she and her husband moved in several years ago. The sofas were previously in an off white fabric and had hard wear over the years - including, at present, a big dog that likes to sleep on them. So we found this great striped fabric from Westbury Textiles and they turned out beautifully. So cool to see classic stripes looking so good on sofas.
